This picture shows a scene at the market. There is a stall selling fish, crabs and prawns. There is another stall selling meat next to it. The fishmonger is busy weighing a fish for his customer. A woman is paying him for the things she buys. Another woman who is also at the fish stall, is yelling at her son. She is quick to catch hold of his hand before he reaches for the crabs and gets pinched. A woman is selecting the portion of meat to buy. The butcger is chopping up a slice of meat on his chopping board. A pickpocket is taking a purse from the woman buying meat. She is careless. She should not leave her purse in the basket. When someone sees him taking the person, he or she should shout to alert the woman. Hopefully, when the pickpocket runs off, some people in the market will offer their help to give chase.
